Beacon Hill Rape Suspect Held on $1 Million Bail
Anthony Williams was arraigned on the rape charge Wednesday.
The man suspected of raping a Beacon Hill woman in her home on Nov. 10 was ordered held on $1 million bail.
Anthony Williams, 45, of Dorchester, was arraigned Wednesday afternoon on a charge of rape and receiving stolen property.
Judge Mark Hart Summerville ordered him held on $1 million cash and revoked his bail from an open assault and battery case.
District Attorney Press Secretary said that Summerville "was not the judge who, when Williams was arraigned on that (assault and battery case) on Sept. 4, declined to revoke his bail on an open charge of failure to register as a sex offender." More to come.
Police arrested Williams at his mother's home in Dorchester Tuesday afternoon. See the full story here.

it's good to know that there is one decent judge in Massachusetts that will keep these savages off of the streets with proper bail amounts. well done Judge Summerville.
