This week we asked readers to tell us the best place on or near Beacon Hill to go for take mom for brunch on May 13, Mother's Day. Although there are a number of good spots on the Hill, only two got votes: Harvard Gardens and Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro.

Of the two, Harvard Gardens got the most, with five. Their brunch has all the classics, like eggs benedict, French toast and blueberry pancakes, with some unique items like proscuitto omelets and red velvet pancakes.
