Best of Patch Readers' Choice: J.P. Licks Voted Best Ice Cream
The Charles Street newcomer came out tops. But what's their best flavor?
Charles Street offers plenty of spots for a cool, creamy refreshment on a hot day, but our readers say the best is newcomer J.P. Licks. In this week's poll asking for your favorite ice cream or frozen yogurt shop on the Hill, J.P. Licks bested BoYo Natural Frozen Yogurt, Beacon Hill Chocolates' gelato and Caffe Bella Vita.
But this poll made me wonder, as a frequent consumer of J.P. Licks ice cream myself, what's the best flavor there? My usual is mint oreo, and I'm also a fan of sweet cream, but I'd like some recommendations for other flavors. What do you all like?

What's interesting to one person isn't always interesting to another. I know if I was on Beacon Hill and trying to decide where to get ice cream, I'd want to know what people liked and where to find it, and if I owned or worked at an ice cream shop, I'd be interested to see what people thought.
