Five Things To Do This Weekend

It may be a rainy Pride weekend, but there are plenty of other events on the docket this weekend.

1. Show Your Pride

The fourth will happen rain or shine and starts right out front at noon on Saturday. Free and open to all. 

2. Tour the Ayer Mansion

Starting at 3pm this Saturday don’t miss the monthly of this historical mansion in the 300 block of Commonwealth. Free and open to all.

3. Get In A Tight Spot

Karlson’s 1955 American classic, Tight Spot will be on Saturday at 7pm through Emerson’s Art Department.  Tickets are $10, $7.50 for members and only $5 for students.

4. Get Your Fashion Fix

Trendy designer Haven holds their three-day this weekend starting at 10am on Saturday. Its free and open to all and they have mimosas in the mornings and cocktails in the afternoons. 

5. Throw A Picnic

offers picnic style dining each weekend from 11:30am – 3pm. Call an hour ahead and your rustic picnic basket stuffed with provisions like goat cheese, smoked ham and a Maine Crab Roll will be stashed in the public gardens or at a destination of your choosing. Check out the menu
