Lynn Julian broke her leg this year and has participated in the Santa Speedo run for 10 years. She decided not to let the injury stop her and took to the streets via pedicab.

The festive and high-spirited 1-mile Santa Speedo Run started 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lir Tavern, at 903 Boylston St., and then headed down Boylston to Berkeley, up Newbury to Gloucester and back to the pub.
Proceeds will support the Play Ball Foundation, which funds after-school sports for Boston Public Schools.
