Friday, Jan. 20
- At 7 p.m. police responded to a report of a breaking and entering into a residence with force during the daytime at 84 Myrtle St. According to police reports, the residents reported that their apartment had been broken into that day and two laptop computers, other electronics, a credit card and money had been stolen. Officers found pry marks on the door to the apartment building's foyer but no signs of forced entry to the apartment. Police have a description of a suspect seen by neighbors.
- At 10:30 p.m. police responded to 215 Charles St. for a report of larceny in a building, $200 or more.
Saturday, Jan. 21
- At 1:11 a.m. police responded to 26 Mt. Vernon St. for a report of a breaking and entering into a residence with force during the night. According to police reports, the victims left their apartment Friday morning and that night discovered that jewelry had been stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the home.
- At 9:22 a.m. police responded to 26 Mt. Vernon St. for a second report of a breaking and entering into a residence with force during the night. Police reports state that the victim went straight to sleep when he got home from work Friday night but woke up to discover that several items were missing from his apartment, including electronics, money, jewelry and a credit card. There were no signs of forced entry and the victim said he left his apartment locked.
