Police: Man Pulled Off Bicycle, Robbed on Joy Street

Police news from Beacon Hill, Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.

 

A man reported to police that he was robbed after being pulled off his bike Sunday. The man said he was riding on Joy Street around 11:20 p.m. when an unknown man pulled him off his bike from behind, held him in a choke hold and asked what he had on him. The suspect then took the victim's bag, with contained a laptop computer and prescription eyeglasses, according to police reports. 

Thursday, Nov. 29

  • At 3:16 p.m. police responded to 2 Brimmer St. for a report of larceny, $200 or more. According to police reports, a UPS package was stolen from in front of the home.
  • At 6 p.m. police responded to 53 Charles St. for a report of shoplifting, $200 or more.

Friday, Nov. 30

  • At 11:55 a.m. police responded to 95 Beacon St. for a report of a motor vehicle accident resulting in personal injury.

Saturday, Dec. 1

  • No major incidents reported.
