Police: Otis Street Residence Broken Into

Police news for Beacon Hill, Feb. 19-24.

 

Around 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 20 police received a report from Otis Street residents that their home had been broken into during the daytime and a laptop computer, cufflinks and other jewelry was stolen. 

Tuesday, Feb. 19

  • Police responded to 68 Beacon St. for a report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in property damage. 

Wednesday, Feb. 20

  • Police responded to 5 Otis Place for a report of a breaking and entering into a residence without force during the daytime. (See above.)

Thursday, Feb. 21

  • Police responded to Mt. Vernon St. for a report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in property damage. 
  • Police responded to 148 Cambridge St. for a report of larceny in a building, $200 or more. According to police reports, the victim said a unknown person stole her pocketbook.
  • Police responded to Charles Street South for a report of larceny from a motor vehicle, $200 or more. 

Friday, Feb. 22

  • Police responded to Charles Street South for a report of larceny from a motor vehicle, $200 or more. 

Saturday, Feb. 23 

  • No major incidents reported.

Sunday, Feb. 24

  • No major incidents reported.
