Police: Threatening Calls Made to Charles Street Cafe

Police news from Beacon Hill, Nov. 23 - Nov. 26.

 

A man called Cafe Vanille several times Friday morning and made various threats, according to police reports. He said he hates French people and was going to go to the store later in the day and kill, reports state. He said "heil Hitler" and asked why it was called Black Friday and not White Friday. The clerk said he was speaking in a German accent. Police tried to call the number, which was a Skype account, back but were unable to reach the man. 

Saturday, Nov. 24

  • At 2 p.m. police responded to 88 Beacon St. for a report of larceny from a vehicle, $200 or more. 

Sunday, Nov. 25

  • At 3:15 p.m. police responded to 88 W. Cedar St. for a report of larceny from a vehicle, $200 or more.

Monday, Nov. 26

  • At 3 p.m. police responded to Charles Street for a report of larceny from a vehicle, $200 or more.
