According to police reports, the woman, who was visibly upset, said she was walking her dog when a man she didn't know came up behind her and pushed her against a brick wall, stole her dog's purse, which she was carrying, and fled.

The right side of the woman's face was swollen from the attack and she complained of mouth and shoulder pain, as well as scrapes to her right leg.

do the police EVER find the criminal during a "search of the area"?
foot patrols are badly needed throughout Beacon Hill.

I am commenting on this article, simply because I want it to come back onto the main page. AS neighbors, we need to do a better job of talking about crimes in the neighborhood so we are on the lookout for ourselves and others. Beacon Hill feels like a little bubble- sometimes we need to be reminded it's a bubble that’s easily popped.
