Preview to the four-day Putnam Boston Equestrian Classic on the North Shore.
Horses returned to the Boston Common Friday for the Putnam Boston Equestrian Classic preview event. World-class riders showed their stuff to an enthusiastic crowd on a jump track set up not 50 yards from Charles Street. The four-day event will take place September 8-11 at Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton, MA, and will feature olympic grade show jumping, jousting, and a dog show.
