Warren at DNC: The System is Rigged Against Middle Class

Elizabeth Warren, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night. What did you think of her speech?

The system is rigged against middle class families, and unchecked corporate greed will take us all down, according to Massachusetts U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren who spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night.

"Each generation built something solid so that the next generation could build something better," she said. "But not for many years. Talk to the construction worker from Malden who went nine months without a job... Talk to the student in Worcester who worked hard to finish his degree and now he's drowning in debt...The system is rigged against them."

Warren, who took the stage just prior to former president Bill Clinton, said Romney's plan to lower the richest Americans' taxes would send the economy spiraling backwards. She called several times for Americans to band together to work for the next generation's benefit.

Did you watch Warren's speech? Do you think she did enough to address the concerns Americans have about jobs and the economy today? Do you believe the playing field in America is rigged? Share your thoughts in the comments.

A few points:
1) Just because someone says they are for the middle class does not make it so. Could it just be she needs their votes, I think so.
2) Warren is not middle of the road. Does anyone want to argue that?
3) If this democrat wants to talk middle class, she should address the issues that are important to them.
4) Does Warren actually know what issues are important to the middle class?
5) Motives are apparent to me in that she needs to convince the middle class what she thinks is important to them. That is upside down.

Maybe Warren had a meeting at a Louisburg Square Residence. I do not think she got accurate information there regarding the middle class.
