What Business Would You Like to See on Beacon Hill in 2013?

It's a new year, and that means more opportunities for businesses to open in the neighborhood.

Who's open, who's closed?

This year saw the opening of several great additions to the Hill: JP Licks, Dakota Puffin Dog Boutique, noa, two North River Outfitter stores and more.

But let's say that for one day, you had control of all the neighborhood's businesses. You could sort through, see how many there were of each type, and decide what other new businesses should come onto Beacon Hill.

Do you think the neighborhood needs more grocery stores, coffee shops or cafes? Or new restaurants? What about a movie theater or a new boutique?

Share your thoughts in the comments and see what your neighbors think too.

Well, for me, I will say that the world is going through a change and it is time that we understand what this mean for employment as we use to know it. Far more people will have to contend with the idea of starting their own small business, working from home and who know what else. Learning practical skills and being prepared to take the risk to start is critical.
