Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Beacon Hill Manager Completes Ironman Arizona

Charlie Abrahams, sales manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Beacon Hill office, recently competed in the 2013 Ironman Arizona.  This was the eighth Ironman that Abrahams has participated in since his first competition in Lake Placid, N.Y. in 2002.

 

Abrahams placed No. 547 out of the 2,703 competitors in the triathlon, which consisted of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile cycling course and a 26.2-mile run. Formerly a rower at Boston University, Abrahams has been an endurance athlete and racing triathlon since 1988. He plans to participate in Ironman Chattanooga in September 2014.

“It takes both a physical and mental toughness to get through the distances in triathlons like the Ironman Arizona,” said Abrahams. “Training for and participating in these endurance competitions is a huge challenge that I enjoy.”

Abrahams resides in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. In addition to managing the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Beacon Hill office, he writes a weekly real estate column and blog for the Boston Herald called Hot Property.
