Free Memoir Class for Beacon Hill Senior Citizens Offered at the Boston Athenæum Library

Grub Street, Inc. and Mayor Menino’s Memoir Project class is coming to Boston’s BEACON HILL and WEST END! The Memoir Project aims to capture the stories of Boston’s over 60 residents by teaching the basics of memoir writing. Learning these skills will give participants a practical and meaningful way to turn memories into coherent narratives with lasting value. An essay from each participant will be published in a collected volume. The free class will run September 12 – November 7 on Thursdays from 10am – 1pm (with lunch provided) at the Boston Athenæum Library. No writing experience necessary, just life experience!
