Let's Keep George Sabra's Plastic Caps

Mr. George Sabra is a world renowned artist who came to Boston to participate in Boston GreenFest 2013, hosted by the Foundation for a Green Future, Inc.  His sculpture, Plastic Caps is on display at Boston City Hall, on the Third Floor foyer when entering from the Plaza.  It lights up the space and energizes it in a way that is so simple, yet amazing.  This is the tallest sculpture made from recycled plastic bottle caps in the United States.  It is 21 feet tall and is comprised of 25,000 plastic caps and lids that were discarded and reclaimed.  The project was done with the help of members of the community in Austin, Texas where George resides.  George is willing to leave the sculpture with the city - we need a donor to make this happen. Please be in touch with us at info@bostongreenfest.org.  Boston City Hall is transformed - please help us keep it that way!
