Beacon Hill Neighborhood Block Party Sept. 22

See what's coming to this year's community celebration.

Beacon Hill Civic Association is sponsoring Beacon Hill's Neighborhood Block Party Sunday, Sept. 22 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Lower Mount Vernon Street near the Firehouse.

Special events include the Hill House pancake breakfast (9 to 10 a.m.), duck boats (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), National Park Service Rangers historic tour (12:15 p.m.), architectural tours of Beacon Hill (1 p.m. and 3 p.m.), kid's scooter and bike decorating parade (1 to 1:30 p.m.), dog show and prizes (1:30 to 2 p.m.) and fire truck (2 to 3 p.m.).

There will be activities for people of all ages and entertainment by the Rock Bottom Band.
