Beacon Hill's Annual Winter Dance This Saturday at the Taj

Time is running out to secure tickets.

The following is edited information from the Beacon Hill Civic Association:

Beacon Hill's social event of the season, the annual black-tie winter dance, is this Saturday at the Taj hotel.

Prohibition and the Roaring '20s inspired the theme for this year’s "Moonshine & Memories" Annual Winter Gala, sponsored by the Beacon Hill Civic Association.

The event will celebrate 90 years of service and community on Beacon Hill. Dance committee co-chairs Kathryn Kuchefski and Ashley Harmon and their team have come up with creative new additions to recognize the association’s long history of Beacon Hill while still keeping many favorite traditions of the dance.

Guests will be treated to a cocktail hour and appetizers before the dance. Infinity Portrait will be there taking photos of attendees with a collection of Prohibition-era props. The Perry Rossi Orchestra will once again perform with the addition of two female vocalists. In addition, this year there will also be dancers from Wheaton College to teach attendees a few dances from the 1920s, which is sure to keep the dance floor hopping all evening.
