Boston Couple Adopt Giant Cat Named Pickles from MSCPA-Angell

The 21-pound cat was adopted from MSPCA-Angell in Jamaica Plain.

A couple from Boston has adopted a cat that has been dubbed "Catasaurus Rex" due to its abnormally massive size. 

The cat, whose real name is Pickles, weighs 21 pounds and is three feet long, and was founded abandoned on the side of the road, forced to fend for himself before being taken in by the MSPCA-Angell in Jamaica Plain, according to ABC News

Boston couple Andrew Milicia and Emily Zervos subsequently adopted the cat last month from the MSCPA's adoption center, according to the report.

"We're so proud of Pickles' wonderful new human family - and thrilled that this jolly giant graced us with his presence before finding his forever home," the MSCPA said on its Facebook page

It's believed that Pickles may be part Maine Coon, one of the largest breeds of domestic cats, according to The Daily Mail
