'Cliff Clavin' Returning to Cheers

John Ratzenberger, who played Cliff Clavin on the hit show, will be at the Beacon Hill bar Monday afternoon.

This know-it-all postal worker is returning to the Cheers bar on Monday, July 14.

That’s right. John Ratzenberger, who played Cliff Clavin, a postal worker and one-time "Jeopardy!" contestant, on the hit show "Cheers," will be at the Beacon Hill bar at 2 p.m. Monday to discuss his new nonprofit with state business and political leaders.

Ratzenberger’s nonprofit, The Foundation for America, is a non-partisan organization aimed at tackling the growing decline of skilled labor in the country. In addition to informing the public and public policy makers of the problem, the foundation will help individuals seeking careers in trade industries, both informatively and financially.
