Ducklings Dressed in Teal For Ovarian Cancer Awareness

Margaret's Mission has the ducklings dressed to the nines in teal this weekend.

The "Make Way For Ducklings" ducklings in the Boston Public Garden will be wearing teal ponchos this weekend as part of National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

Margaret's Mission, which is a non-profit organization that raises awareness for ovarian cancer through the Massachusetts Ovarian Cancer Awareness License Plate Initiative, said in a statement the ducklings are part of their month-long effort that included walks, events and even the lighting of the Zakim Bridge the same teal color.

The ducklings are wearing teal to honor Margaret Ferreira, who passed away from ovarian cancer in September 2008. More on Margaret's Mission is available here.
