Massachusetts Gas Prices up 8 Cents

That’s 17 cents higher than last month and 2 cents less than national average.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up 8 cents from last week, according to AAA Southern New England.

An April 28 survey of gas prices in the state found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.68 per gallon, up eight cents from last week, AAA is reporting. Prices locally are 17 cents higher than a month ago. The current price is two cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.70. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 26 cents lower at $3.42.

The latest AAA survey shows a range in prices for unleaded regular is 33 cents, from a low of $3.56 to a high of $3.89.

I simply cannot believe that everyone here believes what they are told without thinking for themselves. Did you know that it is a FACT that the government of the USA makes more profit on a gallon of gas than the gas companies do. Please don't believe me and look it up for yourselves. Dwell on that for a few.

Gasoline is a commodity just like gold etc. It was evil under GWB. Even worse since not that bright Obama came along $1.87 vs $3.70 adjusted. It's a world free market. What makes this crazy and confounding is taxing the crap out of our own resources which is an aggresive deliberate slap to our private industry. the small break we enjoy in some commodity specialities. There is still no energy plan from Washingmachine DC.
