Fast Food Workers Protest For Higher Wages in Boston

Dozens of Boston fast food workers walked off their jobs Thursday, demanding higher wages and protesting in high visibility areas around the city.

Mass Uniting was the organizing force behind the protests, asking the corporations who employ many locals to nearly double their wages to $15 an hour.

'Unfinished' March On Boston Common

Numerous local groups marched on Boston Common Wednesday on the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.

The march was called "Boston's Unfinished March for Jobs, Freedom & Justice." Dozens gathered to raise awareness about issues centering on the desire for equality for all.

See Where Dress' Beacon Hill Location Will Be

A couple weeks ago we told you former Newbury Street boutique Dress would be coming to Beacon Hill at a yet-to-be-announced location.

According to their website, you no longer have to wait to find out they will be reopening. Dress will be at 70 Charles St., inside the historic Charles Street Meeting House.
