Red Line Shuttle Diversion For This Weekend Postponed

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced a reprieve for travelers who would have faced an MBTA Red Line diversion this weekend.

A planned shuttle bus diversion that would have replaced train service between Kendall/MIT station in Cambridge at Park Street station in Boston has been postponed to the weekend of Sept. 14 and 15.

Friends Conduct George Washington Statue Cleaning


The Friends of the Public Garden are conducting regularly scheduled conservation cleaning of the Public Garden's George Washington statue, located close to the Arlington Street intersection with Commonwealth Avenue.

Civic Association Introduces Merchant Loyalty Program

The Beacon Hill Civic Associationrecently announced the creation of their new Merchant Loyalty Program, which gives members discounts and other benefits locally with presentation of your membership card.
