Massachusetts General Hospital's Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation, located at 2 North Grove St. in Boston, opened to the public today.

The Russel Museum serves as a gateway into the MGH's history and medical accomplishments. Construction cost around $7.8 million and was raised philanthropically, Museum Director Peter K. Johnson said. The museum will be open Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
