Police Seek Beacon Hill Indecent Assault Suspect

"No definitive connection" between Monday incident on Brimmer Street and three recent Beacon Hill sexual assaults.

Boston Police are seeking a suspect involved in an indecent assault on Beacon Hill that reportedly took place Monday night.

Police said "no definitive connection has been established at this point" between Monday's incident and three recent sexual assault incidents in the area that are still being investigated.

According to BPDNews.com, the incident took place around 6:15 p.m Monday when a female was walking on Brimmer Street toward the Charles/MGM MBTA station.

A suspect was walking in the opposite direction and allegedly approached the female and committed the indecent assault, fleeing up Chestnut Street toward Charles Street.

Police described the suspect as follows: "white male, mid 20s, 5’10″ in height, 160-170 lbs, slim to medium build, dark brown shaggy hair, parted in the middle, no facial hair, clear skin with olive complexion, wearing a dark blue polo shirt with red polo logo, medium straight leg jeans and dark color sneakers."

Police said they are looking into the possibility this assault is connected to the other recent assaults "due to similar physical description." However, they said no connection has yet been established.

Anyone with information on this incident, or the other recent incidents, is asked to call District A-1 (downtown) detectives at 617-343-4248 or the Sexual Assault Unit at 617-343-4400.
