Beaver Place Developer to Sell Controversial Land

Universal Hub reported Friday on the apparent end of Beacon Hill resident George La Perle's decade-long journey to develop the lot at 45 Beaver Pl. at the foot of the Hill into a two-family home.

They cited a tweet from the Boston Courant that said La Perle had finally gained approval to move ahead with the project 10 years after he purchased the property but has now decided to sell.

According to project website 45BeaverPl.com, La Perle got the last needed permit Aug. 29 but is now looking for inquiries through Oct. 31 from buyers to sell the land and associated permits for $2.85 million.
