Beacon Hill Meeting with Police To Discuss Recent Crimes This Thursday

The report of a rape on Beacon Hill over the weekend has residents concerned about the safety of the neighborhood.

The following was sent out by the Beacon Hill Civic Association:

In response to neighborhood concerns about recent crimes on Beacon Hill, the BHCA will be hosting a Crime Prevention Meeting this Thursday, November 15th. Captain Tom Lee will discuss  the recent incidents, and how you can take necessary precautions to protect yourself and prevent future crimes in the neighborhood. The meeting will start at 7pm at 74 Joy Street.

The police would like to address neighborhood concerns in a timely fashion. When incidents are fresh in everyone's minds, they can look into them right away before things fester.

Captain Tom Lee will be addressing individual questions, so Beacon Hill residents are welcome to discuss their concerns. We hope you engage in this community meeting, as its purpose is to ease any anxiety you may have about the safety of our neighborhood.
