From the Editor: You - Yes, YOU - Can Post on Beacon Hill Patch

Dear Readers,

I get a lot of questions each day about how to get information added to the site. 

One of the best things about Beacon Hill Patch is that you, the readers, have the power to use the site for all that it's worth (which is a lot more than what it costs!)

Is your neighborhood association hosting a potluck?  Are you looking to let people know that tickets are on sale for an upcoming show? Do you want to get coverage on Beacon Hill Patch of an event you're hosting?

With just a few clicks, you can directly post your events, announcements, or blog on the site, all without having to go through the editor. If you post to the site directly, your post goes live immediately and voila! You have a shareable link. You can even upload your own photos and photo galleries. 

Your posts will be seen by the thousands of Beacon Hill residents who visit the site every day. I'll also make sure they are included in our daily newsletter, our Facebook page and our Twitter feed.
