A West End Halloween Exhibit Tour of The Parkman – Webster Murder Case

The tour will be led by exhibit curator Duane Lucia as he tells the gruesome tale of the disappearance of Dr. George Parkman on the afternoon of November 23, 1849. A city-wide search led authorities back to the last place the doctor had been seen, the Medical College on North Grove Street in the West End. There they found dismembered body parts, a grave robbing janitor and the mild mannered Harvard professor, Dr. John White Webster.

Come take a tour of the ensuing investigation, the trial, forensics evidence and a cast of notable characters, most of whom were Harvard men – a real 19th century CSI adventure!
