Blessing of the Animals

in honor of St. Francis, Church of the Advent offers the annual Blessing of the Animals -- furred, feathered, finned, scaled, stuffed. Bring your animal companion to the church (properly leashed, in a carrier or cage, or appropriately tethered) for this memorable event. Share the blessing by bringing a donation of much-needed items for Angell Animal Medical Center, caring for sick, lost, and abandoned animals since 1868: old towels, blankets, cat or dog food, dog training toys, cat toys string cheese, beef or chicken broth, cat carriers, litterboxes, cat beds, paper towels, hand sanitizer.
