IGNITE the NITE Gala

Are you familiar with Boston GLOW (Girls' Leadership and Organized Women)? We're a 100% volunteer run organization that raises money to provide scholarships for young woman in Boston's most under-resourced schools in our most at-risk communities. Our gala is our primary fundraiser for the year, and ALL of the money raised goes directly to helping girls achieve their dreams. This year, we asked the girls of Boston to answer this question: what would you do to change your community for the better? And the winners, in addition to scholarship money, will be given access to a team of volunteers to help them implement their dream.

This will be the third year of the gala, so we're excited for great success. The last two years have resulted in 8 of our scholarship winners going to college, some of them first exiting the shelter system, procuring safe housing and earning their GED, others finally leaving behind a neighborhood riddled with gang violence to start a brighter future for themselves and their families. There will be a silent auction, catered food, and more!
