The roads, railroads, transit lines, and dams that cross the Charles River are so familiar that it is easy to forget that they are living history. Not only do today's structures have their own history, but their design and physical structures point back to over a century of civil engineering practice and progress. Bill Kuttner, Senior Analyst at Central Transportation Planning Staff will talk about fresh ways to look at today's structures.
