The Other Side of Normal: How biology is providing the clues to unlock the secrets of normal and abnormal behavior
Join Jordan Smoller, MD, ScD, associate vice chair of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry, and associate director of the Psychiatric and Neurodevelopmental Genetics Unit in the MGH Center for Human Genetics Research as he examines what biology is teaching us about the mind, the brain, and mental illness. Dr. Smoller will discuss his recent book (“The Other Side of Normal”) and address how science is helping demystify our behavior, relationships, resilience, and mental health.
