The Life Planning Exchange will hold its Second Annual LPX Summer Social on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Brandy Pete's in Boston, with a panel to "Explore
the Non-Financial Side of Retiring!"
LPX helps Baby Boomers and Generation X transition smoothly through life changing events by holding speaker programs, outings and networking events with peers and professionals. The group invites members of the community to join them in exchanging knowledge, experiences and inspiration about healthy aging, managing personal and professional transitions and retirement planning in a casual and friendly atmosphere.
The event features three speakers who will discuss the many sides to retirement planning. "Retirement planning is filled with hopes and fears, and most people focus on the financial side, asking themselves if they will have enough money to retire," says LPX founder and event moderator Lisa Maini. "But what about the non-financial side of retiring -- that is what this event will review for our participants."

Event speakers include: Paul Cronin, Partner, Successful Transition Planning Institute; Dorian Mintzer, M.S.W., Ph.D., Board Certified Coach and co-author, "The Couple's Retirement Puzzle: 10 Must-Have Conversations for Transitioning to the Second Half of Life" and Dan Wagner, Financial Advisor, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. They will offer their expertise to help attendees grapple with such questions as: 1.) What would you like to do when you retire -- and does your spouse/significant other share your plan; 2.) Have you considered your long-term care needs and options and 3.) As a business owner/professional, what are your exit plans?

The event is sponsored by myMarketingManager, a full service marketing outsourcing firm for small to mid-sized companies in the business-to-business (B2B) and high net worth market place. It is being held at Brandy Pete's, in Boston's financial district, from 5:30-8:30 PM on July 22nd.
