Local Flavors with a Mardi Gras Twist at The Market at The Pinehills!

The Market at The Pinehills will host a “Local Flavor with a Mardi Gras Twist” tasting event. The event will take place at The Market located at The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Tasting stations will be located throughout the store and will feature items prepared on site by Chef Dane, trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America; along with specialty items from some of The Market’s local vendors.

Tasting stations will include:

· Mufalatta Sandwich samples

· Sausage and Dirty Rice prepared with The Market’s own handmade sausages

· Cape Cod Coffee locally roasted in Mashpee, MA

· Virgin Hurricanes made with fresh grapefruit and pineapple from The Market’s produce department

· Formaged’affenois brie

· Make your own mini sundae with Chilly Cow Ice Cream from Easton, MA

· Traditional Mardi Gras King Cake and Paczki Donuts made fresh by the bakery at The Market

Tickets are priced at $5 and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Plymouth. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event.
