MBCR & Dana-Farber Bone Marrow Drive

Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Company
(MBCR) and Dana-Farber seek donors between the ages of 18-60 to enter the
national bone marrow registry at South Station.

A quick swab of the cheek will identify life-saving
bone marrow donors and provide healthy stem cells for individuals like Bob
Evans, a veteran MBCR locomotive engineer who is fighting leukemia. Mr. Evans approached MBCR to host this drive in order to help others
with life-threatening blood diseases.

Dana-Farber's donor center is a fully accredited
member of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). The NMDP has facilitated
more than 35,000 marrow or blood stem cell transplants for patients who do not
have matching donors in their families.
