New England Revolution Bobblehead Nights Return this Season on May 24

At select games throughout the summer, the New England Revolution will host a series of bobblehead nights featuring several star characters. The first bobblehead in the 2014 series is Revs mascot Slyde the Fox, who has patrolled the Foxborough sidelines since 1996, and whose wobbling-head likeness will be given away at the Saturday, May 24 match against D.C. United at Gillette Stadium (7:30 PM kickoff). Mascot Slyde is the first non-player to be featured in the Revs’ bobblehead series.

Slyde’s bobblehead features his signature bushy tail, pointy ears and of course his Revs apparel, ready to cheer on the team and hype up the crowd – just as he does on the sidelines each game.

Later in the summer, both Andrew Farrell and Kelyn Rowe will make their MLS bobblehead debuts.

Farrell, now in his second year with the Revs, was the number one overall pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and turned in an impressive rookie campaign last year. Rowe, one of the team’s anchors on the field, had a breakout sophomore campaign in 2013 with seven goals and eight assists. Fan will have the opportunity to grab Farrell’s bobblehead prior to the June 26 home match versus the Columbus Crew (7:30 PM), and Rowe’s likeness will be given out at the August 16 Portland Timbers match (7:30 PM).

A limited number of these bobbleheads will be available to fans upon entering Gillette Stadium, so fans are encouraged to enter the stadium early on the following bobblehead nights:

Slyde the Fox: Saturday, May 24th vs. D.C. United (7:30 PM)

Andrew Farrell: Saturday, July 26th vs. Columbus Crew (7:30 PM)

Kelyn Rowe: Sunday, August 16th vs. Portland Timbers (7:30 PM)

Tickets to each match can be purchased through all Ticketmaster outlets, through the Revolution ticket office at (877) GET-REVS (438-7387) or online at revolutionsoccer.net.
