Roxbury Repertory Theater presents A Soldier's Play

The Roxbury Repertory Theater and Roxbury Community College will be putting on a very special play this month in an effort to make the performing arts more accessible and engaging for members of the local community. Roxbury Rep. Theater will host A Soldier’s Play from Thursday October 24th through Saturday November 2nd at 1234 Columbus Ave in Roxbury, MA 02120. The Roxbury Rep. Theater is a community theater that puts together several professional performances each year to motivate community involvement in the arts.

The play is a Pulitzer Prize winning drama by Charles Fuller in 1981. The play follows Captain Davenport, a black military officer as he investigates the murder of a black sergeant in 1944 Louisiana. The performance will be easily accessible to the community, with ticket prices being $10 for General Admission and $5 for Students and Seniors Citizens.
