ENGAGING SUMMER PROGRAM JUST FOR 13-YEAR OLDS.


YEA! Youth Engaged in Action is a three-week course offered to 200 income-eligible middle-school youth. YEA builds on their ability to become young leaders through awareness, advocacy and the opportunity to take action. Throughout the session, they will learn how government works, how to take positive action on challenges that face our environment and how financial wellness is important for themselves and their communities at large.

There will be one session for a total of three weeks (Monday - Friday) with ABCD’s staff and older SummerWorks teens working as program assistants. Please call one of our participating neighborhood sites to sign up and get more information.


Summer Session: 7/14/2014 - 8/1/2014
