Part-Time Fall Soccer Program Assistants

Hill House is seeking a Youth Soccer Program Assistant who enjoys working with children and has a basic knowledge of soccer.

Overview: Hill House relies on program assistants to help teach young participants soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game. Over 500 children participate in our Soccer program. Teams practice on a designated weekday evening for 1-hour. The Youth Soccer Program Assistant would be responsible for being on-site at the soccer field prior to practices & games, assisting coaches with running effective practices, and helping to maintain organization of equipment and storage.

Practice Schedule: (program assistants would be required to arrive at least 30 minutes before practice begins) ***If you are only available certain days please let us know and we may be able to work around your schedule.
Tuesdays 4:15pm—6:15pm 
Wednesdays 5:15pm—6:15pm  
Thursdays: 5:15pm – 6:15pm
Saturdays: 8:00-2:30

Start Date: September 7th, 2013
End Date: November 16th, 2013

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitate soccer skills instruction including drills, activities, and games in a manner that maximizes learning for every player and minimizes passive time. Evaluate player's skills and provide feedback to Athletic Coordinator. Supervise player participation including individual and group behavior management, safety and security.

Job Requirements: Candidates must complete CORI and SORI background check forms as required by the state of Massachusetts. Experience playing high school level soccer or greater. 18 years old with a driver's license and graduated from high school. Collegiate, high school or youth soccer coaching experience.
