One Injured After Four Crashes Involving 19 Cars in O'Neill Tunnel

Traffic was reportedly still moving at a slow pace Monday morning after the scene was cleared.

Slick roads were to blame for four accidents involving 19 vehicles inside the O'Neill Tunnel in Boston Monday morning, leaving one person injured, Massachusetts State Police said

The crashes happened on the northbound side of I-93 during the morning commute, with one crash involving nine cars and two other crashes involving four, and two cars were involved in an additional crash.

Multiple lanes of the highway were closed after the accidentsMonday due to a slick morning commute caused by rain and sleet.
