Police: Motorcycle Stolen on Phillips Street

Police activity on and around Beacon Hill, Aug. 16-19.

A man reported to police Friday around 3:45 p.m. that his bright blue motorcycle, which he had parked on Phillips Street near Grove Street at 10:30 p.m. the night before, had been stolen. 

Thursday, Aug. 16

  • At 9:30 p.m. police responded to 42 Chestnut St. for a report of vandalism.
  • At 11:52 p.m. a man reported to police that while he was walking on Park Street he was approached by a man who said he had a gun. The robber stole the victim's iPhone, police report.

  • At 6:07 p.m. police responded to 100 Cambridge St. for a report of larceny by shoplifting, $50 to $199.
  • At 8 p.m. police responded to 100 Chestnut St. for a report of vandalism.
  • At 8:01 p.m. police responded to 215 Charles St. for a report of larceny from a vehicle, $200 or more.
  • At 11 p.m. police responded to Beacon Street for a report of larceny from a vehicle, $200 or more.
