Police Log: Pregnant Perpetrator Shoplifts Boutique

At 3 a.m. Boston police responded to an incident of vandalism at the FOX 25 T.V. studio on 22 Beacon St. The commercial alarm was set off after a pane of glass was damaged on the Beacon St. side of the studio, the police report said. Officers on scene observed a spider-webbed crack in the glass but the glass remained intact and no entry was gained into the studio. No arrests have been made. 

At 3:17 p.m. Boston police responded to call for shoplifting at  on 131 Charles St. An employee of Crush told police that a pregnant, blonde woman stole a sweater from the boutique, according to the police report. The suspect was described by employees as approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall, with glasses, a slim build and a pregnancy bump showing. She was wearing black tights, a blue-green long-sleeved shirt, UGG boots and a navy blue pea coat. Employees says she stole an off-white, three-quarter-sleeve 525 America sweater priced at $95. They told police she put the sweater on in the store and then proceeded to the dressing room. Not visibly wearing the sweater, the suspect exited the dressing room and then left the store. When employees went to check the dressing room they found the sweater was gone. Video surveillance footage of the suspect was captured and sent to the police department.

At 6:30 p.m. Boston police responded to Charles St. for a report of larceny from a motor vehicle, $200 and over. 

At 7:00 p.m. police received a report of larceny from a motor vehicle, $200 and over, parked at 142 Chestnut St.

At 8:46 p.m. Boston police responded to a call for larceny at 164 Tremont St. where a victim told police her purse was snatched. No arrests have been made.

Sunday, Dec. 5

At 12:10 a.m. Boston police responded to a report of assault and battery at 24 Boylston Place.

At 4:40 p.m. Boston police responded to Charles St. for a report of larceny from a motor vehicle, $200 and over.
