UPDATE: Man Shot in Public Garden in Stable Condition

Police are investigating the shooting.

Police said that a man in his 50s was shot in the Public Garden at 4:07 a.m. They reponded to the call, made from 15 Arlington St., at 4:16 a.m. The victim was taken to Tufts Medical Center for treatment and is listed in stable condition.

Police are not releasing more information now but ask that anyone with any information about the shooting call District A-1 detectives at (617) 343-4248.
