Police: Robbery at Gunpoint on Grove Street

Police news on Beacon Hill from Dec. 13 to 16.

A man was robbed at gunpoint on Grove and Cambridge streets Friday.

Police reports state that the man was walking down Grove Street, toward Cambridge, just after 8 p.m. when he was approached from behind by two young men who showed him an black handgun and told him to walk back up Grove Street. They stopped him in a nearby stairway, had him sit down and stole his iPhone, rings and wallet. They also forced him to tell them his PIN number for his ATM card. The suspects stayed behind him the entire time.

  • At 10 p.m. police responded to 151 Charles St. for a report of vandalism. 

Friday, Dec. 14

  • At 3 p.m. police responded to 37 Beacon St. for a report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident that caused property damage. 
  • At 8:09 p.m. police responded to 83 Charles St. for a report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident that caused property damage.
