ORIGINAL STORY
: In what has become an annual rite of late August in Boston, a box truck too tall to pass under a Storrow Drive bridge has become stuck causing traffic backups Monday.

According to Massachusetts State Police, the truck is stuck on the eastbound lane of Storrow Drive near Charles Circle. The right lane is closed to traffic while the left is open, causing delays.

State police are asking motorists to seek an alternate route while they get the situation under control.

The westbound on-ramp from Charles Circle is closed for bridge inspection and state police said a tow truck is attempting to pull out the truck.
