Red Line Delays Caused by Disabled Train

Here's why your commute through the Beacon Hill area may have been a slow one this morning.

A disabled train at Downtown Crossing created delays on the MBTA Red Line Friday morning, causing backups for riders going through the Beacon Hill area.

According to Boston.com, the train was not moving for about a half an hour this morning and later had to be removed by using another train.

T service on the Red Line has returned to normal, according to the MBTA.
