The William Scott Gambee 1 Mile Memorial Walk will follow the 5K and the awards ceremony.  It is a special part of the Boston Get Your Rear in Gear event.  A time for reflection, remembering and hope.

Pre-Registration

via mail or online before November 8:
Adult 5K Runner/Walker: $25
Child 5K (12 and under) Runner/Walker: $12
1 Mile Memorial Walk Adult/Child: $15

Race Day Registration

after November 8:
Adult 5K Runner/Walker: $30
Child 5K (12 and under) Runner/Walker: $15
1 Mile Memorial Walk Adult/Child: $15

 

Directions and Parking

Free parking is available at the Castle Island parking lot, but we’d like to reserve those spots for adults and children with special needs and families with young children. There is also free parking along Day Boulevard, and on side streets near Castle Island.  View directions and parking information.

 

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

Friday, November 11, Noon to 7 p.m.

Pick up shirts and race numbers and also register friends and family.  Registration and packet pick up continues on raceday morning.

Pre-Event Party

Friday, November 11, 5-10 p.m.
We have graciously been donated a 200 person catered event at Splash Lounge on Kneeland Street in Boston. 

For all participants 21+, come stop by for free food and a cocktail or two. Come meet other teams that you will be racing against come morning.

We will be raffling off two 2012 season Red Sox and Bruins tickets, with all proceeds to benefit the Colon Cancer Coalition.
