BOSTON COMMON RENOVATIONS
The City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department is holding a meeting regarding improvements meeting to the area of Parkman Plaza at the Visitors Information Center on Boston Common.
The meeting is slated to take place Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. at Emerson College's Bordy Theater, 216 Tremont St.
GREENFEST THIS WEEK
Entering its sixth year, Boston GreenFest 2013 will entertain and educate with music from countries around the globe, all kinds of exhibits of fashion, cars, robots, art, poetry, dance, tai chi and more. It runs Thursday through Saturday at City Hall Plaza. More information here.
PUPPETS ON THE COMMON
The Friends of the Public Garden will be hosting a free puppet show with Rosalita's Puppets performing "Rosalita and the Giant Bugs" Wednesday at the Boston Common Parkman Band Stand at 10:30 a.m.
